How many days of coverage do you offer?
Most South Asian weddings span 2–5 days. Couples usually want coverage for Mehndi night, Sangeet or Garba, Wedding Day (Baraat + Ceremony) and Reception. Our vendors can accommodate any special requests as well. We recommend providing your requirements at the initial discussion stages.
How many photographers are included in your package?
For large events, it’s common to have 2+ photographers—one for candid shots, another for traditional portraits or opposite sides of the venue. Depending on your requirements, our vendors can suggest more options.
Do you offer photo + video packages?
Some vendors do both; others work with a trusted videography partner. If not, our vendors will coordinate with your videographer for smooth coverage.
Are you familiar with our specific traditions (Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Tamil, etc.)?
Our vendors are often asked this to ensure they don’t miss key moments like the first look during the baraat, Nikah signing, Pheras around the fire, Milni or Rukhsati ceremonies. Experienced photographers usually consult with the couple and/or planner to know what to expect and where to be at the right time. We recommend providing your requirements at the initial discussion stages, so nothing is left uncovered.
How much time do we need for couple & family portraits?
Most photographers suggest 30–45 mins for the couple and 30+ mins for family & bridal parties. We recommend scheduling this before guests arrive to avoid delays.
Are you comfortable shooting in different lighting situations (day/night/indoor/outdoor)?
Yes. South Asian weddings often shift from bright daytime ceremonies to dim, colorful receptions—so pros bring flashes, diffusers, and low-light lenses. Our vendors are experienced and usually consult with the couple and/or planner to know what to expect and where to be at the right time. We recommend providing your requirements at the initial discussion stages, so nothing is left uncovered.
Can we request edits or specific photo styles (e.g., vintage, editorial, candid)?
Yes, most photographers are happy to tailor part of their editing to your preferences.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Usually between 6–10 weeks, depending on the season and package. Some photographers offer sneak peeks within a week! We recommend discussing all details during the initial discussion stages.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Many photographers offer luxury albums, custom-designed books, or framed prints as part of premium packages. But typical delivery is via an online gallery, USB, or cloud drive—with full printing rights.
How far in advance should we book you?
Ideally 9–12 months ahead, especially if your wedding falls on a popular holiday or season.
Do you travel or shoot destination weddings?
Yes—many South Asian weddings happen in destination locations (Mexico, Dubai, Bali), so destination coverage is common. We recommend discussing all details during the initial discussion stages.
Will you visit the venue beforehand?
If local, yes. If not, photographers often arrive early or work with planners to scout lighting and angles. We recommend discussing all details during the initial discussion stages.
Do you offer guidance on posing or will you shoot candid?
Most South Asian couples ask for a mix—posed family portraits and candid moments (like that teary bidaai shot or the groom dancing in the baraat). Our experienced photographers usually consult with the couple and/or planner regarding their specific needs and guide accordingly to capture the best memorable moments.
